During routine visits at Advanced Dental of Holmdel, you can expect to have a comprehensive dental exam including oral cancer exams, diagnostic digital x-rays, a cleaning, possible fluoride treatment & sealants.
Sleep Apnea
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is caused when the airway is blocked, by either the tongue or soft palate collapsing against the throat, obstructing air from entering the lungs. This event is called an apnea. OSA is the most common sleep-disordered breathing.
Invisalign
Advanced Dental of Holmdel provides Invisalign to our patients. Invisalign is a unique state-of-the-art orthodontic therapy that straightens teeth without the use of metal brackets or wires. Instead, Invisalign uses a series of plastic alignment trays similar in appearance to a clear retainer. These trays slowly move the teeth into the desired position and are replaced with a new set of trays every few weeks.

Dental Implants
A dental implant is a titanium post that is surgically positioned by a dental specialist into the jawbone beneath your gum line. Once healed, our dentist is then ready to restore (mount) replacement teeth, a bridge or dentures into that area.
Dental Crowns & Bridges
When a tooth is broken or decayed beyond the point where a traditional filling can restore its proper function, a dental crown allows the tooth to structurally withstand normal uses like biting and chewing. A crown covers the entire visible surface of a tooth above the gums.
A bridge places a crown on two teeth, with a false crown fused between them, “bridging” the space of a missing tooth. Bridges are used in all areas of the mouth.
Removable Appliances
Replacing your missing or damaged teeth not only benefits your appearance, but it can also restore your overall health! You can replace your missing teeth using partial or full dentures. These are removable sets of artificial teeth that serve as replacements for your natural teeth (either upper, lower, or both).
Root Canal
Bacteria that is introduced into the pulp as a result of tooth decay, periodontal disease, tooth fracture or other problems, can severely damage the pulp. When that happens, the diseased pulp is removed to save the tooth and prevent further infection and inflammation. After successful root canal treatment, the tooth continues to perform normally.
